I did reach out to see if the 1099 MISC was in the mail. I'm clearly confused - this is new to me!
This was their response:
"Please be informed that the report of 1099-MISC for 2017, which includes referrals, incentive payments, prizes, and awards. It does not include your total earnings for the entire year of 2017.
I've reviewed your payment statements for the year, and it does not appear that your miscellaneous payments qualified for a 1099-MISC form this year. Your miscellaneous payments were under the $600 threshold.
....
However, your Uber generated Tax Summary should provide you with all the information you need to file this year."
