It depends. If the amount reported was entered on line 3 on form 1099-Misc or 1099-NEC, it's other income and needs to be entered on line 8, Part 1, Addtional Income of Schedule 1 as Other Income. On the other hand, if the amount was entered on line 7, you must file Schedule C form.
