The reason why the Dept of Revenue is not of help is because while the 725 is filed with them, your LLC registry is filed with the Secretary of the State, which is a different department. You can get more information at this website: <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="
https://www.sos.ky.gov/">https://www.sos.ky.gov/</a>. I'm pretty certain that much like the tax return, the 725 covers last years activity and must be filed. But at the other site you can dissolve the LLC if you choose.
