Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure where you got the idea that I'm a dependent on my parents...I'm not. The problem (challenge) is that my wife is not a US citizen and does not have a SSN, so I need a way to tell TurboTax that. That still does not answer the question about where the worksheet for determining eligibility is in TurboTax. If I could fill in the worksheet that the IRS provides online with TurboTax, it would calculate the correct amount.
