I've tried this and it won't work. I also called turbo tax to talk to a live representative. All she did was take me back to the beginning, deleting my 1099 NEC, re-entering them, only to get back to the schedule C "double-click" nightmare. She wasted and hour of my time and had no solution. She said she would email me with a solution, but I have not been emailed yet. Their software is not capable of handling NECs yet. Unfortunately you pay for your filing before the review. I've already paid them so I can't delete my work and go to HR block or another source.
