Not getting email to verify email address when efiling returns in TTO?

If you are experiencing a block when trying to E-file your return on a page that says " to help your account stays safe, we're emailing you a 6-digit verification code.", But you are not getting the email in your email account do the following:

 

Go in the Turbo-Tax Online account if your not currently signed in to your Myturbotax.intuit.com account.

 

Click on Intuit Account in the bottom Left of the screen

 

Click on Sign-in & Security

 

You should then see Verify email address. 

 

Click that and check your email for the verification email, follow the directions and log out then back in your Myturbotax.com account. Click continue under the File my return at the bottom of your home screen. This will immediately bypass that process and allow you to mail or Efile your return.
