It depends. TurboTax Online Premier is required to include Schedule D with your tax return. Form 8949 is not used alone on the tax return, it's the detail for the transactions that must be reported on Schedule D. An upgrade will be necessary to complete the tax return correctly and accurately as required by the IRS. TurboTax Deluxe does not include the Schedule D.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop Deluxe, you will have access the Schedule D and Form 8949.
