Per our agreement we alternate years claiming the kids. Turbotax asked me how much stimulus payment I got and I put the amount I got just for myself since I didn't claim children in 2019 I didn't get the stimulus payment for dependents. I am now getting a recovery credit for them since I am claiming them for 2020 . I dont know if this is correct or if I am mistakenly being given the credit.
