So, I'm 38 and live with my mom and my kids. She claimed all of us as head of household in 2019, since she pays the mortgage and utilities. I receive money every month in child support, I pay her some each time. Am I going to be able to file 2020 taxes on my own, without her claiming me so she doesn't get any refund for me, and be able to receive the economic impact payments? I could really use it, as I'm sure most of us can.
