I am not eligible for the tax credit for my 2020 tax returns (filing now, 2021). But I was eligible based off my 2019 tax returns (filed 2020). I received the first stimulus payment, but not the 2nd. I called the bank that I used to have the checking account with and they verified IRS tried to send the 2nd payment, but since account was closed, sent it back to the IRS.
I did not list myself as a dependent. Just went thru it again, no stimulus questions pop up.
