Hi,
My parents are retired and receive no income other than their social security which combined is around $1200 a month plus $200 food stamps.
They have been on section 8 for more than 10 years due to my fathers disability.
Since COVID started last year I have been taking care of them, travel expenses food, medication, cleaning their apartment. COVID supplies, food, etc.
My question is; If I claim them as dependents this year will they loose or see an increase in their sections 8 benefits?
