You'll have to file a 2020 income tax return to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit (RRC). Create a TurboTax account and complete the tax return.
- Due to IRS rules, a return with $0 income cannot be e-filed. This is an IRS rule and applies for all tax software. Intuit is seeking guidance from the IRS on how we can help these customers e-file their return and claim the RRC.
