I'm getting conflicting information from various news and government sources: some say that the IRS will get the "bounced back," for a lack of better words, direct deposit and send a check to the address on file, but others say there isn't enough time for the IRS to send checks so I'll have to claim it.
For all intents and purposes, it's better to have the stimulus check in my situation, as having a reduction on my taxable income will be more than negligible, thus the check would go to any tax owed.
Is there any way of knowing if one person will get a check over another, as the IRS' site shows no information for the second Stimulus Check.
