Just found this article published online... so I guess that answers the question on why it isn't working. And yes to Intuit being sloppy with updating their software.
Updated on Saturday December 19th, 2020: For all of you folks looking to find the TurboTax-Quicken bundle from previous years, we’re sorry to say they it’s no longer being offered. That’s because Quicken is no longer part of the Intuit software family as the brand was sold off a few years ago (the buyers being a few old Quicken executives which spun off a new company).
