TT allows submission much earlier than the IRS actually opens e-filing. Once submitted to TT servers, there's no calling it back. if you discover something needs to be changed you would have to wait until the original is fully processed then submit an amended return that could take 4 months or more to process. we can't be sure of any dates because. as reported by CBS -News Chicago the IRS as of late December had millions of unprocessed returns some dating back to January.
