@Macgyver501 - if there is 'good news' the IRS set this up so there is an 'end to the road' and it's not interminable. No more amendments to the 2019 tax return; no more non-filer forms. No more bank accounts that are closed and checks that can't be found.
All roads lead to the 2020 tax return.
