Dependents on Medicaid
My fiancé and our baby are on medicaid. They live with me in Colorado.
1. Can I claim them both as dependents without effecting their eligibility for medicaid?
2. Alternatively, would filing jointly effect their eligibility if my income is too high?
3. When we marry will their medicaid be effected by my income?
4. Is there anything else we should consider?
Thanks!

You already asked this in another thread. You cannot file a joint return with a girlfriend. Only people who are legally married can file a joint tax return. Ask Medicaid if their eligibility is affected if you claim them as dependents or if your income disqualifies them if you get married.

Your sense of inadequacy is showing. Are you paid for this?
