Hi Lina, Thank you very much for your reply. Understood on the e-file and spouse statement. Couple of questions though: (1) I did not pay FICA for most of the 2018 tax year because of my nonresidency status. If I elect to be treated as resident, do I have to pay FICA for 2018? (2) Is there a way in TurboTax program to declare my nonresidency status and elect to be treated as resident, or do I just use the program as it is? Thank you very much for your time and help.
