Most
people must have qualifying health coverage or pay a fee for the months they or
their dependents don’t have insurance. But if you qualify for a health
coverage exemption you may have all or part of the penalty waived.
Turbo tax will walk you through questions to determine if you qualify when you
click on Health Insurance, at the top.
Here

apply for an exemption number, if you would like to complete that before you
finish your health insurance section for your taxes.
