With TurboTax, free filing is only available with TurboTax online, and TurboTax online closed after the final October 15 deadline to get ready for next season. You would have to purchase a copy of the program to download and install on your own computer. Or, prepare your taxes by hand using the paper forms and instructions from the IRS website.
