I am J1-Research scholar, entering US in September 2014 and remaining here until 2017. Now, I'm considered to be resident because I am here for more than 2 years. So, I need to file 1040. However, I have both 1042S with the Income code 19 (part-year income in Jan-Aug 2016 which is subjected to tax treaty) and W2 (income with tax withholding from Sep-Dec 2016). Can I file 1040 via Turbotax online and how/where can I put information from my 1042S in 1040?
