Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Do not enter your 1099-MISC in the 1099-MISC section of TurboTax which is for self-employment income (box7). These winnings will have to be entered under other income.

Please follow these instructions to enter your winnings:

1. Login to your TurboTax Account 
2. Click "Take Me To My Return"
3. Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
4. Scroll down to “Less Common Income” and click “Show more”
5. Scroll down to “Gambling Winnings” and click "Start" 
6. Turbo Tax will walk you through entering the prize winnings.
