Just be aware that you are not the only one having issues e-filing an amended return, and your specific error message is only one among many the programmers are dealing with at this time. I've looked for a containment article or sign up page to refer you to so that you can be notified via e-mail when they have these issues fixed. But I can't find one at this time. Being a weekend right now, it's not surprising.
