I also have used them for ever and no refund or updates still. Mine was held due to health care and I mailed in paperwork. You stated you received a letter? Why wouldn't they just mail the check also. They make no sense at all. Took the time to mail a letter but not include your refund!Anyway my question is was your taxes held due to healthcare? Was that your issue also?
