My spouse does not have a ITIN as of now hence we can not apply extension online/ electronically as turbotax requires a valid SSN and ITIN and we can not put "ITIN TO BE REQUESTED" as per the from 4868.
If there is any error in Form 4868 then will there be any penalty applied ? or what is the procedure in case of extension rejection
