To re-clarify,
Prior to me using the non-filer tool for the stimulus check, I would have qualified as a dependent regarding my income and me not having filed yet. That's only if I never received my stimulus check of 1,200.
How can my mom not file her own taxes for 2019? I don't get that. If I do NOT get claimed by her for 2019, why can't she file now for herself without claiming me if what I'm trying to ask??? I received my own stimulus check already through the non-filer option.
