I did that and I do qualify for the HOH status.
I should've mentioned that my husband used to have an itin and it expired this past December. We cannot renew it until he gets a new passport, and has been unable to do because of covid-19 shutting down the agencies in mexico.
Turbo tax asks for his personal info and ssn (itin). I'm afraid if I put that expired itin on there, that it'll delay my tax refund and/or get denied because of such expired itin.
