My husband died on 9/11/19. I still have not received any stimulus payments. We have had the same Bank of America account for over 40 years.
I received a letter stating his and my stimulus funds would be direct deposited into out Bank of America account around March 15, 2020. It STILL has not appeared in my account, nor does the bank have any record of the funds entering the account and then being withdrawn. Neither his check or mine have been deposited.
When I go to IRS.GOV, it says my funds should be deposited on May 15, 2020
I've spent well over 15 hours on hold with the IRS "customer service" .... and the last representative (and the nicest) said that the key word is should and that I should just wait for it to arrive. Has anyone else had the same issue? I need the $ to pay my 2019 taxes!
