I am having the above issue with my foreign earned income/exclusion values not carrying thru to form 1040. in the past the values carried through properly as positive and negative values and I was able to e-file. Why is it not carrying thru this year? If I use your above method of add $1 to 1099-INT form so that I can e-file will this be a red flag for the IRS or cause any issues in processing my return?
