When you choose to efile a tax return, you should get two emails from TurboTax. The first one says that you submitted your return. The second one says that the return was either accepted or rejected. What did the emails say?

Why do you think the IRS rejected it?  Did they mail you a letter?  Accepted only means the IRS verified your identity and accepted your tax return for processing.  Then they process it.  Then they Approve or Deny your Refund.  

Did you maybe file a second time from another account or add another W2 or something?  You can only file 1 time.  

If you also e-filed a state return, it's possible that while your state return was accepted, your federal return was rejected. But that's highly unlikely (though not impossible) since for most states you can't e-file the state return until the federal return has been e-filed and accepted by the IRS.

It's also possible if you filed a state return, that it was your state return and not your federal that was rejected.
