If your daughter's scholarship income was higher than the tuition paid, then she would have taxable scholarship income. You would enter her 1098-T in the Education section just as you did for your own return. The difference is that if you can claim her as a dependent, then she isn't entitled to claim an education credit, but she must still report any scholarship income.
- Go to the top of your screen and choose My Account.
- Choose Tools.
- Choose Topic Search, then type in your topic (scholarship income) and click Go.
