Did you resubmit your efile? Was it accepted?
Rejection Code IND-517-01 indicates that the first Dependent listed on your Form 1040 has already filed a Tax Return and claimed themselves.
You can either change the return to remove the dependent and refile, or print and mail the return. The IRS will then review both returns and work with taxpayers to determine who may claim the dependent.
