You will not be able to e-file your tax return this year, even though your parents amended their return. As you can see, the IRS e-file database does not get updated when the amended return is processed. You have to print your tax return, sign it, and file it by mail. Even if you were able to contact the IRS, they would not be able to make it possible for you to e-file.
