Form 3554 is for the New Employee Credit.
You need to go into your state interview section.
- Proceed through the screens until you see the page which says Take a look at California credits and taxes.
- Under Business and investment credits, you will see a line titled New Employment Credit.
- Select start or revisit. You should make sure you answer no when it asks if you want to claim this credit.
This should remove the credit and allow you to proceed with your tax return.
