as an active investor, be aware that your category Box A sales without adjustments do not require Form 8949, so there is no reason to key in or import those transactions.
instead use the "enter a summary" option to put your numbers on Schedule D Line 1a.
Same goes for Category Box D. the numbers go on Schedule D Line 8a.
You haven't had this problem before because, based on other complaints here, TurboTax has changed its algorithm this year.
It is applying the rules above , but causing only confusion since it is not consistent.
Of course, it should not be changing your explicitly entered transaction detail into transaction summary behind your back. Obvious to you and me, but evidently not to TurboTax developers.
