How did you enter the sales data from your 1099-B?   Did you import it from the brokerage?   Or did you enter it manually?

If manually, where/how did you enter it?  Did you enter it in the interview step-by-step mode, or did you try to do it in Forms Mode?     If you did not import it, then when entering the data manually, interview step-by-step mode is recommended, since it's easy to screw things up in Forms Mode, since there is an intricate connection for how things flow between the 1099-B worksheet, the Form 8949, and the Schedule D.

You mentioned "Relevant Form."   If you are entering transactions in interview step-by-step mode, then the "Relevant Form" button will show you the 1099-B Worksheet because that's where the entries first flow.  Instead of using "Relevant Form" (which is a quick glimpse at where the entries are being reported, while keeping you in interview mode), actually switch to Forms Mode.  Once in Forms Mode, review the list of forms in the left column forms list.  You may see more than 1 copy of Form 8949 in the list.

Your transactions may require more than 1 Form 8949, depending on the holding periods and whether or not the shares are covered/non-covered.   Only 2 categories of holding periods can be shown on each Form 8949.  So it may take more than one Form 8949 if you have more than 2 categories of holding periods; i.e., if you have any 3 of these categories it will take 2 Forms 8949.

When you switch to Forms Mode, you can look at the left column forms list to see if there is more than 1 copy of Form 8949.  Each Form 8949 has a Part 1 (short term) and a Part II (long-term)

On a user bulletin board setting like this it's hard to picture and understand exactly what all you are experiencing on your forms.  I personally don't understand it from your description, so I can't really help you with the specific problem you are experiencing.

If you don't get suggestions that help you resolve it here in this public forum, you may wish to phone TurboTax Support during business hours so they can question you in realtime.
