I hope this update helps anyone: I just hung up with the treasury. I called the number for TOP in the last paragraph of the offset letter and pressed option "4". I got a real nice person on the other end, and they of course are getting a tremendous amount of calls about the stimulus payments that were offset due to past child support. She said that if you have filed the Injured Spouse Form 8379, then you will get your portion that should have gone to you originally within 8-11 weeks. She said that the "glitch" was caught and they are aware of it and are fixing it. So if you filed your form, you do not need to file again, just wait the 8-11 weeks and it will be paid the way you indicated on your taxes. She seemed very confident that it would not take longer than that. I'm marking my calendar and keeping my fingers crossed! Hope this helps anyone in any little way!
