And I’m asking since I just filed my 1040 form 8 days ago and left the dependent box unchecked if that will override any “dependent” status I may have had. I have no idea how I was claimed as dependent according to my parents when I don’t live with my them and they don’t give me any money. To not pay me a stimulus check because of this is asinine.
