I’m not committing fraud. I’ve checked the requirements for when a parent can claim someone as their dependent, and I don’t fit the criteria. As I stated before I have not lived with them for 6 years and they don’t pay my living expenses. Which is why it is confusing when I asked them if I’m claimed as dependent and they said I am.
