Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Yes, you will get the Stimulus Check if you have filed for 2019 and meet the other qualifications.
From the IRS web site qualifications for the Stimulus Check
U.S. residents will receive the Economic Impact Payment of $1,200 for individual or head of household filers, and $2,400 for married filing jointly if they are not a dependent of another taxpayer and have a work eligible Social Security number with adjusted gross income up to:
- $75,000 for individuals
- $112,500 for head of household filers and
- $150,000 for married couples filing joint returns
It depends, the Stimulus checks have started to go out. There is not currently a way to track when you will receive your Stimulus Check.
If you received a refund on your tax return, the Stimulus payment will be directly deposited to your bank account.
If you have a balance due on your tax return, the IRS is setting up a portal where you can enter your bank information to receive the Stimulus Payment as a direct deposit.
Currently this portal is not available, it is expected to be available later this month.
