I tried filing my 2019 tax return, it was rejected due to missing information on the 2018 return I filed through TurboTax. How did this happen?

When I filed my 2018 return, I imported in all the W2 information. It was sent in, accepted, and I received my tax refund. Several weeks ago, I filed my 2019 return, and I am just now learning that it's been rejected. When I look at the 2018 return TurboTax has on file, the Wages and other information is missing and the AGI is wrong, so the IRS will not let me file the 2019 until this is corrected. My question is, how did TurboTax let this happen?
