@KarenJ2 Thank you very much for the quick reply. Just one follow-up question: is it okay if I remove her from my taxes (not list her as a dependent)? I am okay with this, but just not sure if it's okay (legally?), or if it will be a problem later on down the line in future years. She's my first child and was born this past year, so apologies if this is a silly question. 🙂
