Box 1 shows her wages and has been reduced by amount of her HSA contribution, and I believe taxes held out are correct. I don't want to have to amend a return because of a wrong W2, but her work claims they have researched and the W2 is correct. I hate to keep bothering her HR person at her work, but not confident W2 is correct, and this is holding me up from filing. Who is correct and what can I do? Turbo Tax Home and Business shows no error, but it doesn't know about her $6240 in donations.... I've read 2016 IRS publication on basic W2 filing, and it clearly reads to me that there should be a figure in box 12 titled "W". Help Please!
