If you were paid and they issued you a W2, you would enter that information in the Jobs, W2 section. If they issued you a 1099-MISC, then you would enter the income in the 1099-MISC section.
To enter a W2:
While signed in and working in TurboTax
- Click on Federal in the left-hand black menu
- Click on Income and Expenses
- Click on Job (W-2)
To enter a 1099MISC:
While signed in and working in TurboTax
- Click on Federal in the left-hand black menu
- Click on Income and Expenses
- Click on Show More next to Other Common Income
- Click on Start or Revisit next to 1099-MISC
