Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Thanks to everyone for posting on this thread.  I followed the directions from woodward-apart and all went well.

Here's the interesting thing:  I was able to e-file.  Was anybody else able to e-file?

I had to fill out form 8453 and mail it in along with the 8949 form in which I inputted the capital gains deferrals (per woodward).  With this package, I also mailed in form 8997 where you have to record you opportunity zone investments.  Hopefully this is good enough for the IRS.  My general rule is that if they get their money, they should be good, even if they need to read the mail.

Hey Turbotax - You suck.  Fix this next year or lose a 15 year customer.
