if you're going MFS online each of you needs an account to prepare their return. there is no reason why you have to grant access to your account to your spouse. there is no reason you have to show spouse your return. the one filing first is supposed to tell the other whether they used the standard or itemized deductions. the one filing first forces the other to use the same method.
