Even when you itemize on the Federal and the 8283 populates, it still not available for the state of AL.
I did my taxes last weekend and played around with the figures so I could itemize on the Federal before actually doing mine correctly.
Bottom line, the 8283 will NOT pull over to the state of Alabama even though it populates on the Federal. That is my grip with Turbo Tax. Why not correct the software so the form will pull for the state of Alabama? Once again, I had to print my state return and mail it. Thanks
