Rejected due to last name and SSC not matching (got married) - What do I do now?

I submitted my tax return by e-filing with turbo tax and paid the $80. The IRS rejected it within 10 minutes of submitting stating the last name and SSC number did not match what the IRS had on file. I realized I had forgotten to change my last name on my SSC to my new married name from when I got married in May of 2019.

I was told by the SSC office to wait 24hrs for it to be updated in their system. That was Tuesday 3/10/20 and still it is rejected when I try to refile online. I have tried a total of 3 times including the original submission and I am afraid I will now be audited or something. This is my first time doing my own taxes.

Do I need to resubmit via mail? If so, how long does that take to process? Everything in the e-file is 100% accurate, the only issue was that I had not updated my maiden name to my married name on my SSC. It has now been done and it has been 3 business days since it was updated. Do I need to file an addendum? If so, when?
