Support should not keep sending people the same failed solution of uninstall/re-install. That is a lazy way to avoid FIXING THE PROBLEM. This has occurred for years and Intuit has not fixed it. Either they just do not care or their testing is woefully inadequate. It has happened to me 2 years in a row on Mac OS X.
If you are on a MAC, shutdown the machine. When you press the power button/start the laptop, immediately hold down the Command ALT and P and R keys as it boots until the machine "chimes" (restarts) three times. This clears a non-volatile cache. It worked for me, I hope this helps
Intuit needs to include a utility in the install to clear the SH.. cache out to avoid this loop
