Hello community,
Here is my situation: I lived in Florida for about five years. I was married and received healthcare coverage as a dependent during all that time. All beautiful.
Then, last year, December 2019 we got divorced but I was already living and working in Massachusetts since July 31, 2019. Thus, I lived half and half in both states.
My problem is that I just found out I could face a fine in MA for not having medical insurance.
Honestly, I thought it was okay because I did have coverage since January 2019 to January 2020 in Florida.
What can I do?
How can I file my taxes? I'm so lost.
